What are you going to do?

Otravo works by empowering small autonomous teams with the ability to influence technical and product directions in an open and friendly culture. We believe better is good enough and focus on continuous improvement in all things Travel related.

  • Conduct analysis and design experiments to support new product initiatives, drive improvements to existing features, and inform the product roadmap
  • Be a sparing partner to product owners and drive data-informed product decisions
  • Partner with engineering and business intelligence to ensure proper tracking instrumentation of products and experiments
  • Develop learning agendas and test plans to support agile, data-driven decision-making
  • Perform exploratory analysis alongside data science to generate hypotheses, identify gaps, and size opportunities for new product features

Because we build all our systems in-house with our own integrated development and science teams, we could really use your knowledge and skills, helping us leverage technologies such as

  • Tableau
  • Google BigQuery
  • Cloud computing (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Internal tools like (Kafka, Spark, Grafana, Graylog, Solr)

You will be facilitating a team of developers/data scientists who operate production code and will be spending ± 10% on private projects to find the next big thing

Skills And Qualifications

You are a product/business analyst (2+ years) and have solid experience with tools similar to Tableau for sharing and generating product insight, and you have an inquisitive mind and you love to share knowledge.

You should have experience with Tableau or a similar dashboarding software. We also consider it a plus if you have experience with:

  • Big Data, Solr/ElasticSearch
  • Google BigQuery
  • Google compute engine.
  • Programming languages that are good for analysis (R, Python, SAS)
